The EQright was created by and is owned/manufactured by :
Cypress Hill Farm, INC (D/B/A EQuick Fix) located at 10518 Blackstone Dr.,Huntersville, NC 28078.
After each ride, ensure that the device is stored in a location where it will not be exposed to extreme temperatures (ex. a hot car). EQright is not waterproof, and should not be exposed to water. For best performance, ensure the device is fully charged before each use.
You can visit the How To page for a detailed PDF on care insturctions.
If your EQright does not easily slide on your helmet right after you open it, not to worry! EQright clips are adjustable and you can push them open or closed to create a custom fit to your helmet. They may be a little hard to adjust at the beginning, because the metal is new, so if you are having a hard time pushing them open to start, try gently using a hoof pick, or another lever, to gradually lift them until they fit your helmet. To avoid scratching your helmet, try to avoid forcing EQright onto the helmet brim.
The EQright should only take a minute or two to vibrate, letting you know it is ready, when it is first turned on. The delay in vibration can be impacted by how long it has been since the last use.
First, ensure that the device is fully charged.
Second, flip the device right side up, so the buttons are facing toward the ground. It will take longer for the device to notify you its readyif the buttons are facing up during the start up period.
If the device is still not starting up when it is fully charged and the buttons are facing downwards, turn the device on and off again. If the problem persists, visit the Contact Us page for support.
Not to worry, this is completely normal. Simply mute the device by pressing the green button. This will turn off any notifications until you are ready to calibrate. Once calibrate the device on your horse, it will unmute the alarms and you will be ready to go.
If this is the first time you are using the device, and it continues to vibrate, that is because it is naturally calibrated to be parallel with the ground and it is notifying you that it is below that parallel level. If you have calibrated the device before, the vibrations are just notifying you that it is tipped below the last calibrated level. As mentioned above, muting the device in either scenario will stop the notifications until you are ready to calibrate.
When calibrated, the EQright takes a very precise measurement. It is most likely due to the calibrated level and alert time sensitivity.
If you do not feel the device going off when you think it should be, it could be you set your calibration level to low. First, try to recalibrate your head/chin at a higher position (visit our How To page for instructions on how to calibrate). You can also set the device to a more sensitive setting by lowering the alert time with the Time Adjust slide (Ex. from 6 seconds to 2 seconds).
If you notice the device going off to frequently, and it is making riding uncomfortable, simply recalibrate the device at a lower level. Overtime you can continue to raise the calibrated level as you build the proper muscles to reach your desired position. You can also increase the alert time with the Time Adjust slide (Ex. 2 to 6 seconds).
EQright will be available in January 2020 but we will be offering pre-orders in 2019. Enter your email address at the bottom of the page to receive notifications of when pre-orders are available so you can be among the first to start getting your EQright!
